Dr. Watine has joined Barefoot Bay Internal Medicine

(Barefoot Bay, FL) – Sebastian River Medical Center and Steward Medical Group are pleased to welcome Dr. Watine to Barefoot Bay Internal Medicine in Barefoot Bay, Florida.

Dr. Watine is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. 

He earned his Doctor of Medicine through the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.  Dr. Watine has a special interest in cardiovascular and pulmonary care, diabetes – type 1 and type 2, thyroid disease, exercise, fitness and nutrition. 

“I’ve always considered myself a true diagnostician and clinician.  I also like being able to care for patients over a span of years for their total health, as opposed to treating one particular condition,” explains Dr. Watine. “My philosophy has always been to put the patient’s needs first.  I make every attempt to see patients the day they need to be seen and do not want patients waiting in the exam room for an extended period before they see me.”
