Dr. Perry has joined Steward General Surgery Vero Beach

 

(Vero Beach, FL, November 16, 2021) – Sebastian River Medical Center is pleased to welcome Theodore Perry, MD, FACS, Florida native and third generation physician, to Steward General Surgery Vero Beach. Dr. Perry has made his home in Vero Beach and has been serving its residents for over 25 years.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) who provides expertise in general surgery, including areas such as hernia, gall bladder, and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Perry also provides specialized surgical services in the treatment of breast and colon cancer as well as thyroid and parathyroid procedures.

“We are particularly fortunate to have a local, well-known surgeon of his expertise, who among his many skills and competencies, treats conditions of the parathyroid and thyroid,” said Ron Bierman, Chief Administrative Officer, Sebastian River Medical Center. “Patients are known to travel great distances for parathyroid procedures,” he added.

More about Theodore Perry, MD, FACS

Theodore Perry, MD, FACS, is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Perry received his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando and Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.  He served as Chief Resident in general surgery from 1992 to 1993. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the Indian River County Medical Society, having served as president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer over the years.

He and his wife, Susan, have raised their family in Vero Beach and are the proud grandparents to multiple grandchildren.
