Meet the Team

We have one of the most experienced and highly trained bariatric teams in the area let by Bariatric Surgeon and Medical Director, Patrick Domkowski, MD, PhD. In addition, Steward is fortunate to have Kevin Seeras, DO, who is board certified in surgery and fellowship trained in bariatric surgery. Our team forms a relationship with each person they have the privilege of taking care of. We are passionate about what we do for our patients. Eliminating obesity disease and the additional problems it causes is central to our focus as a bariatric surgery center of excellence.

Meet the Team

Patrick W. Domkowski, MD, PhD, Medical Director

Dr. DomkowskiDr. Domkowski is the Medical Director of the Steward Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program at Sebastian River Medical Center. Dr. Domkowski has practiced in Brevard and Indian River Counties since graduating from Duke in 2004..

He obtained his medical and graduate degrees from Georgetown University and completed his formal surgical training at Duke. Dr. Domkowski is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons. He has proudly served on the Executive Committee for the Florida ASMBS State Chapter and has published in SOARD and written textbook chapters on bariatric surgery. He focuses his practice on robotic bariatric and general abdominal surgery.

Kevin Seeras, DO

Dr. Seeras

Dr. Seeras is a board certified surgeon, specializing in bariatric surgery. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois, and completed his general surgery residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is Michigan.  He went on to complete his minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship at Stony Brooke University in Stony Brook, New York.

Beth Watson

Practice Manager at Steward Bariatric and General Surgery

Beth moved to the area with her husband of 27 years from Indianapolis, Indiana a year ago. She was a Practice Administrator for 17 years in a large hospital system for a multi-specialty practice with a focus on procedural care. Beth’s goal is to ensure that the community is fully aware of the great outcomes of our bariatric surgery program and the quality of care that our highly skilled and compassionate surgeons provide. Beth is looking forward to exploring the area and connecting with the community.
